Biography

Mental Health Counseling with Care is a private mental health practice, offering counseling and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.   Founded by Caitlin Morrone, MHCWC was established to provide solutions-oriented counseling for all individuals suffering from mental and emotional health illnesses.  She has an 8-year background in mental health counseling with a focus in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, which has allowed her to implement effective treatment plans to provide exceptional care for her clients.  Caitlin is a team-oriented professional who quickly establishes trust and rapport within the therapeutic relationship.

About Caitlin

 Caitlin was born and raised in Long Island, NY.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Dowling College.  She then went on to attend SUNY Stony Brook where she attained a Master's of Art Degree in Psychology.  After working in forensic psychology field for four years, she realized that counseling was her passion.  This drew her to the Mental Health Counseling graduate degree program at SUNY College at Old Westbury.  During this time, Caitlin completed an extensive internship at Family Service League, in which she worked in their Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS):Stepping Stones program.  PROS services addressed dual-diagnosis conditions, including addictions and substance abuse, OCD, sexual abuse, trauma disorders, clinical mental health issues, and psychiatric care.


Caitlin graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Master's of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling.  After attaining her license to practice in 2017, she began working as a private practitioner in the mental health care field.   Her primary treatment methodologies include, but are not limited to, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solutions-focused therapy.
